Reverse Cycle Split Systems

Modern split system air conditioners are reverse cycle, meaning they can heat and cool.

Often considered a back up to a ducted heating system, they are gradually being accepted as a stand alone heater. Split systems are a great solution for heating a flat or apartment where it is not possible to install a ducted system. You also have the added benefit of cooling in summer.

Sizing matters with a split system. We look at the room dimensions, window area, orientation and insulation before recommending a capacity, so the unit holds temperature without working harder than it needs to.

Indoor units are available in a range of styles and finishes, and we plan the pipe run and outdoor unit position to keep the installation tidy and quiet.

A multi head split system air conditioner can heat or cool 2 to 9 rooms using only one outdoor condenser, and allows individual control of each air conditioner in each room.

This is a practical option where there is no room for several outdoor units, or where you want to treat bedrooms and living areas separately without running ductwork.
