Victorian Energy Upgrade Program (VEU)
On 31 May 2023, the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) introduced new space heating and cooling upgrade options to the existing Victorian Energy Upgrades Program (VEU). This includes incentives for energy efficient reverse cycle air conditioners for households and businesses upgrading from:

ducted gas heaters
-
room gas heaters
-
hard-wired electric resistance room heaters
-
central electric resistance or ducted slab heaters
-
room reverse cycle air conditioners (non-ducted)
-
ducted reverse cycle air conditioners
When you upgrade certain inefficient heating and cooling products to a more energy efficient model, you MAY be eligible for rebates in the form of “Energy Credits/Certificates”.
These certificates are a tradeable commodity and there are companies set up to trade in them.
Comfort Heating & Cooling are not ‘Energy Certificate’ traders but we can assist you through our collaboration with Green Energy Trading.
