A vital part of our maintenance service is a Carbon Monoxide emission test. If gas heaters are faulty or poorly maintained, they can leak Carbon Monoxide. Carbon Monoxide can be lethal as it can’t be seen and has no smell. Energy Safe Victoria recommend gas heaters should be serviced a minimum of every 2 years.
Neglecting the regular service and maintenance on your heater can also affect the heater’s performance and economical operation. Dirt and neglect are the No. 1 causes of heating and cooling system failure, and can lead to house fires.

Service of your Gas Ducted Heater takes approx. 45 minutes and includes:
Carbon Monoxide testing
Cleaning of burner assembly and injectors
Check and adjustment of burner ignition (if necessary)
Cleaning and testing of pilot light operation
Cleaning of fan assembly where required
Check of heat exchanger for cracks
Check of gas running pressures
Testing of all components
Cleaning of Return Air Grille (where applicable)
