Daikin launched the VRV air conditioning system in 1982.   It is the world’s first use of variable refrigerant flow control.   VRV  technology circulates only the minimum amount of refrigerant needed at any one time.  Furthermore, it allows individual climate control of air conditioning zones.  Precise control and inverter technology minimises energy consumption.  This results in optimum energy savings.

The name VRV is derived from this technology.  Variable Refrigerant Volume.
